UEFA Champions League Power Rankings: Manchester City ousts Bayern Munich from the top of the UEFA rankings.
Manchester City and England lead in the men’s category, and Olympique Lyonnais and France in the women’s category lead the UEFA rankings by the end of 2022.
The first classification of the UEFA list of the best clubs, obtaining 131,000 points, ahead of Bayern Munich (130,000), which dominated the top two educational general classifications, to be runner-up in 2022.
Liverpool and Chelsea finished third and fourth, followed by Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, the European champions, and Barcelona in seventh. With regard to federations, England came in the lead with 103.141 points, followed by Spain in second (88.855), Germany in third, and Italy in fourth.
As for the women’s teams, Lyon, France, ranked first with 115,966 points, followed by Barcelona (114,299 points), Paris Saint-Germain third, and Atletico Madrid fourth. While the French Women's Federation topped the list with 79,833 points, it was followed by Germany and Spain. Portugal topped the list of the best teams in five-a-side football, at the expense of Spain, which fell to third place, while Russia maintained the runner-up position.
