British Thomas Widders, from Yorkshire, gained fame in the eighteenth century for having the longest nose in the world, which measured 19 cm (7.5 inches), as this record remains the highest to this day, according to the Guinness Book of Records, while only Waxworks to display his adorable nose

Details of Thomas' life remain unclear, however, and it is believed that the circus performer died in Yorkshire in his early fifties

In response to a shared photo of the man's wax work, someone commented: "They say your brain automatically ignores looking at your nose but I don't know anything about this man

Another added: "What's really going on here? A tumor? A growth? A random genetic accident? Do my nostrils extend all the way to the tip?? I have so many questions
