They also confirmed that this edition will be historic and exceptional at the level of facilities, organizational aspects, and conditions for conducting matches with advanced technologies and services that will be used for the first time in the history of the FIFA World Cup

Yesterday, Saturday, Al Bidda Park in Doha witnessed the official opening of the World Cup Fan Festival, where FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the launch of the festival and wished the audience to enjoy the activities of the Qatar World Cup

Opening ceremony details

In an official statement, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced the details of the opening ceremony of the world championship, which is scheduled for this evening at Al-Bayt Stadium at 5:30 and will last for about 30 minutes, which will precede the first match in the tournament between Qatar and Ecuador


FIFA confirmed that Qatari singer Fahd Al Kubaisi and South Korean singer Jungkook will sing the song "Dreamers

FIFA indicated that the message of the ceremony is to invite everyone to come to Qatar, to bring together all peoples of humanity, and to overcome differences through humanity

The opening ceremony includes a program consisting of seven acts, performed by international artists that blend Qatari traditions and international culture, while celebrating the participating teams, the previous host countries of the World Cup and the volunteers of the tournament

World Cup Ambassador Ghanem Al-Muftah and Qatari artist Dana will also be present
