A terrible superstition holds people all over the world under its spell. Among its victims are clergymen, lawyers, architects, men known to be brilliant scientists, physicians (especially), university professors, people of all classes and nationalities, and people of all races.
I was one of them for 43 years. I really and truly thought that what my doctor said was the gospel and never questioned him.
What is this superstition? It says that you can obtain and maintain health and "cure" diseases with drugs, medicines and remedies. You have not bothered to examine this absurd and terrible belief without bias.
So what we have are doctors, nurses and drug stores (by the way, we do not have "drug stores" anymore). They call themselves "pharmacies" (I just looked in the phone book.) Other medical professionals also have false hopes.
Terrible suffering and sorrow are common lot of mankind, except for the few who have freed themselves from the disease
